Feng Shui the entire house – remember a decluttered space is a decluttered mind
Be more mindful – listen to lovely, soothing Andy on the Headspace app for 10 mins every day
Eat more healthily – STOP pillaging the kids’ Halloween sweets
Stop talking about Hot Dad, especially in front of Mr S.H.I.T.
In fact, have more consideration for Mr S’s feelings all round – everything is not always his fault
Cut the Little S.H.I.T.’s screen time down to an hour a week – do not give in on Monday
Be a more patient, non-screechy mother
Be a more loving, patient, non-screechy wife
Spend more time as a family – family bike rides, family walks, family boardgames and general family fun (without getting angry and screechy)
Spend more quality time with Mr S – possibly a date night every week
Play more golf
See more of ‘The Boys’ especially ‘The Boys I was at Nursery with’ – not seen them in too long
Create Whatsapp groups for all the different ‘boys’ groups (don’t forget ‘Nursery Boys’) and scroll through all the hilarious messages when Mrs S is nagging me to do something – this will avoid confrontation
Enter the Swedish Iron Man
Train everyday for the Iron Man – 4 hour cycle rides on Saturday & Sunday (after golf)
Get as many of ‘The Boys’ to enter the Iron Man as possible and make a weekend of it in Stockholm (best to double up rather than take away precious family time)
Get some more trendy gear but try not to look like a middle aged Justin Bieber (as I heard Mrs S recently mutter under her breath)
Factor in some family time at weekends (after Ironman training and golf)
Attend every Arsenal game
Spend more quality time with Mrs S – possibly a date night once a quarter
Good to see we’re all on the same page then…. You’ll be pleased to know that so far, Mr S seems to be on target with most of his.
I, however, have not been so successful but have managed to listen to Andy on Headspace. Once.
Onwards and upwards.
